Tracie says: Scotty and I were not exactly love at first sight. We had a lot of obstacles in our paths before we realized that this was true love. After some of our mutual friends "hooked us up" we began to date - while I was still dating other people. It only took about six weeks for me to figure out that Scotty was the one!! After many a nights of hanging out at Riley's and getting to know eachother - I realized that maybe I could let down some of my guards and let Scott in. In September of last year, Scott asked me to be his wife. Needless to say, I cried. He completes me as a person and makes me better than I have ever been before. I love him more than words can express - and thank those "friends" for matching us together. Scotty says: It was like any other night when we met. I wasn't even looking for someone that night. We spent most of that evening sharing conversation and breakfasts. Actually, that was most of our first dates. It took some time and some patience before we put our misconceptions of the opposite sex aside and really started to see each other for who and what we were. I knew before she did. I've always been the dreamer. Tracie is my dream maker that made all my dreams come true. So I called in some favors and put some cash together. With a little help and a lot of luck, I picked out a ring and brought straight to her. She said yes. I spent the rest of the night celebrating at cornfest telling everybody that walked by, " Meet Tracie, my fiance'!" Some people wait a whole lifetime and never come this close to true love. Maybe we are the lucky ones. I know I am. |
