Sarah says: Vaughn and I met on a blind date going to a ball at Cafe Royale in London on 25th November 2000. Needless to say, we hit it off kind of ok! At the beginning of 2002 we went on an around the world trip to visit Vaughn's home, New Zealand and for me to meet his parents in Brisbane. Having got the seal of approval from his family, Vaughn proposed to me on 18th March 2002 at his parents home. We bought the engagement ring in Brisbane and celebrated with his family on a river cruise on the Brisbane river. Not bad eh! Vaughn says: A mate of mine asked me to come along to a ball. I said to him, "You find me the date and I'm there". Here I am now, about to sign my bloody life away! |
